Alan Nash, President and Founder of J. Alan Homes. Though the company has been building since 2000, this is the first time the company has entered the Professionalism Awards competition.
The annual Professionalism Awards Program, produced by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association recognizes outstanding professionals in the metro Atlanta home building industry in the areas of building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement. Industry professionals from across the United States judge the entries and winners gain highly coveted peer and industry recognition. The awards represent the hallmark of excellence in the homebuilding industry.
Nash who worked as a top-level corporate executive in the residential and commercial lock and entry systems industry before starting his building venture says, “J. Alan Homes was in the planning for over 20 years.” He credits intuition formed by years of studying trends in the residential construction market through his corporate experience with what appears as a seamless entry by the company into the fiercely competitive home building industry. He also sites the company’s “customer-centric” focus, a customer driven philosophy, “That’s at the heart of everything within the organization being done with the customer in mind.” Taking the time to learn about clients’ lifestyles, desires and expectations prior to designing and building a home is also a large part of the “customer-centric” process.
